Squash: Atlas’ six-month ban over

Atlas was banned by the Pakistan Squash Federation (PSF) in January for statements against Jansher Khan.

KARACHI: Pakistan number one Aamir Atlas’ has served his six-month ban, making him eligible to represent the national team for international events.

Atlas was banned by the Pakistan Squash Federation (PSF) in January for violating the code of conduct after statements against the federation’s officials including head coach Jansher Khan. The world number 28, from Peshawar, though participated in various international events in his individual capacity but was overlooked for the national team. However, he said he was keen to represent Pakistan. “I’m fit and eager to represent Pakistan again,” said Atlas.
