The chief minister inaugurated the 52-kilometre long DG Khan-Muzaffargarh dual carriageway which has been completed at a cost of Rs13.5 billion. He also inaugurated an e-Rozgar centre, a cricket stadium and a vehicle inspection station.
On this occasion, the chief minister said that the DG Khan-Muzaffargarh dual road is a gift for the people of southern Punjab.
“The people are being fully facilitated by the incumbent government while previous governments made their lives difficult by entangling the people in the quagmire of crises. “We have brought projects worth billions of rupees for the DG Khan division to help improve the quality of life of the residents.”

The chief minister also inaugurated a new block of DHQ Teaching Hospital. “An amount of more than Rs5 billion has been earmarked for the upgradation and provision of necessary facilities in this hospital.”
A cardiology centre will be set up with an amount of more than Rs4 billion and a separate OPD, gynecology and neuro-surgery wards will be constructed, he added. The chief minister assured to provide every required facility in the hospital. He further said that the district hospital will be made a state-of-the-art medical institution. “The government will ensure the provision of modern medical facilities at all hospitals of the province,” he maintained.
