Man arrested for killing wife

LAHORE: Misri Shah Investigation police arrested a man named Adil who allegedly stabbed his wife, Iqra, with a knife for refraining him from using drugs.

Lahore Investigation police officials said that as per the strict directions of DIG Investigation Dr Inam Waheed Khan, special investigation teams of police are making efforts to arrest the criminals involved in murder, molestation and other heinous crimes, curbing anti-social elements.

Under the supervision of SP Investigation Mansoor Qamar, Misri Shah Investigation incharge arrested Adil with the help of modern technology.

During the investigation, the accused confessed to murdering his wife. Reportedly, he told the police that his wife used to stop him from consuming drugs and she went back to her parent’s home after he refused to stop.
