He was addressing an oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected bodies of All Pakistan Clerk Association and Mines and Mineral Unit Balochistan.
“Government employees are a backbone of the provincial departments but ironically current regime is neglecting them and is not willing to address their issues,” said Langove, adding that BNP-M will continue raising demands of the government employees on all forums.
He congratulated the newly elected bodies and expressed optimism that they will utilise their expertise in addressing issues of the workers.
Chairman Shakar Khan Raisani, General Secretary Shams Ullah Kakar, President Din Muhammad Langove, Khairullah Luni and other members also addressed the workers along with demanding service rules and residential colony for the employees.
Earlier, Langove lamented the dismal performance of provincial livestock department on Friday while addressing a meeting.
The participants of the meeting included provincial minister for Agriculture Engineer Zamrak Khan Achakzai, members of provincial assembly, including Balochistan National Party (BNP) leader Malik Naseer Shahwani, Syed Fazal Agha, Sana Baloch and Livestock Secretary Dostain Jamaldini.
“Provincial livestock generates Rs10.35 million annually which is cause for serious concern, although the department is capable of steering Balochistan out of economic difficulties,” said the PAC chairman.
Langove considers corruption a prime factor behind the department’s downfall.
“Government releases millions of rupees for salaries of livestock department but nepotism and corruption have hit its performance,” said Langove.
