Anti-corruption teams nabbed 12 accused on the charges of corruption during the current year

FAISALABAD: The anti-corruption department, retrieved more than 874 acres and 54 kanals of state land, said Anti-Corruption Establishment Regional Director Imran Raza Abbasi. He stated this while speaking to the media on Tuesday. The regional director added that the land was retrieved during an ongoing campaign against land grabbers from various parts of the region over the last two months. He maintained that the anti-corruption teams nabbed 12 accused on the charges of corruption during the current year, whereas 22 corruption cases were disposed of during this period. Inquiries of 67 cases were completed, whereas 314 inquiries were underway, he added.
