Shab-i-barat: Fireworks banned

LAHORE: District Coordination Officor Ahad Khan Cheema imposed Section 144 at the eve of Shab-i-Barat, banning their sale and use. SP Shehzad Asif said that over 35 people have been arrested; most of them wholesale dealers of fireworks. Large fireworks consignments were confiscated from Shahdra, Akbari Mandi and Mochi Gate and Badamibagh.
