Crafty solutions: New bazaar to promote handicrafts

The new bazaar would promote the local handicraft industry and would also provide regular work for craftsmen.

BAHALWALPUR: The construction of a craft Bazaar in the city has been completed with a cost of Rs30 million. On Sunday, divisional commissioner Muhammad Mushtaq Ahmad said that the new bazaar would promote the local handicraft industry and would also provide regular work for craftsmen. “This site will feature a display centre, 26 shops as well as a cafeteria,” he said. Ahmed said that he hoped the craft bazaar would soon become a hub of commercial activity.
