Give them back: ‘Unionists should return our vehicles’

Approximately 22 vehicles were parked at the labour union camp near Governor House.

KARACHI:
The Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC) has asked trade union activists to immediately return the repair vehicles that they have ‘hijacked’ for over two months.

Approximately 22 vehicles were parked at the labour union camp near Governor House.

The vehicles were taken from complaint centres and maintenance offices. KESC has received eyewitness accounts and reports that leads it to believe that union activists have been misusing them to create faults in localities and then extort money from consumers to fix them.
