Suri introduces PM’s pet scheme, offering the youth low cost business loans

QUETTA: Deputy Speaker of National Assembly Qasim Khan Suri on Thursday launched Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Kamiyab Jawan Programme in Balochistan, adding that the mega project will eradicate unemployment and poverty from the province.

“The programme will be fully based on merit where our youth can submit their application online for small loans without flattering any politician or government officer,” said Suri while addressing the Kamiyab Jawan Launching Ceremony held at Balochistan University of Information Technology and Management Sciences.

He stressed upon youth to keenly focus on their future goals and expressed optimism that today’s talented young individuals would take Balochistan out of all the pestering challenges.

Suri said corruption has hollowed out the country's roots and the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government has begun a nationwide rebuilding process from the scratch, maintaining that today the people were facing difficulties due to wrong policies of the past governments.

He said people should remain positive as now the government is striving hard to cope with challenges in order to steer the country out of difficult situation. He asked the PTI workers to effectively promote the government policies to counter the negative propaganda.

Suri reiterated that the country had faced problems due to wrong policies of the past regimes, however, Prime Minister Imran khan has accepted it as a challenge and he was working hard to put the country back on the track of progress and prosperity, he assured.

He said the government is taking the economy in the right direction which would yield positive results for the people in the area.

"PM Imran Khan’s vision of eliminating unemployment from the country is being implemented and a youth development programme will prove to be one of most successful initiatives in the country's history,” he said, adding that the students will be given opportunities to utilize their constructive skills. He said the youth is a guarantee of the country’s bright future, maintaining that the government will make Pakistan a welfare state by highlighting capabilities of young men and women.

“This revolutionary programme will be started from Balochistan,” said the deputy speaker of National Assembly. Suri said for the success of this programme, the youth must work hard with a persistent commitment and strong dedication.

“The overall results of this programme will prove to be of extraordinary importance for the elimination of unemployment and promotion of the youth’s talent,” he said, adding that it is his personal desire to remove the sense of deprivation from Balochistan through practical measures to bring the province on a par with other areas in development.

Suri said all steps were being made to address problems of the people as the latter have a lot of expectations from the incumbent government, adding that in this regard, initiatives were proving to be the beginning of the real change in the country.

The deputy speaker also inaugurated his public relations office at Civil Secretariat in Quetta.

PTI leaders Sardar Khadim Hussain Wardak, Syed Zahoor Agha, Abdul Bari Bareech, Malik Ghafar Kakar, Ayub Treen Advocate, Dawood Panezai, Asif Tareen, Jaffar Khan and prominent citizens were present on the occasion. Suri said the establishment of public office was objective to address people’s problems in a comprehensive manner, by providing them a platform to contact bureaucracy and nominated representatives and solve problems without hindrances.
