Army chief praises PAC for ‘self-reliance and international standards’

Gen Qamar briefed about ongoing projects during his visit to Pakistan Aeronautical Complex in Kamra, says ISPR. SCREENGRAB

Army chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Thursday visited the Pakistan Aeronautical Complex in Kamra, a town in Punjab's district Attock, and lauded achievements of Pakistan Air Force (PAF), said the military’s media wing.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the chief of army staff (COAS) was apprised about ongoing projects.

"[The] COAS visited Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC) Kamra. [The] COAS was briefed about ongoing projects. [The] COAS lauded achievements of PAF and PAC towards attaining self-reliance and international standards in all its projects," the ISPR said.



Earlier this month, the army chief flew in an F-16 with Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan in another American fighter jet as "both aircraft proceeded to maneuver for a combat action simulation mission" at PAF Base Mushaf in Sargodha.
