Security situation reviewed at Corps Commanders Conference
DG ISPR to brief media about details of today’s meeting on Wednesday
ISLAMABAD:
Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa presided over the Corps Commanders Conference at General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi on Tuesday.
Overall security situation of the country was reviewed at the meeting that lasted seven hours.
Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) – the media wing of the armed forces – did not share any details of the meeting.
DG ISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor, however, will hold a press conference to brief the media on today’s huddle at 3pm on Wednesday (tomorrow).
The chief military spokesperson will also speak on the country’s security situation, Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and other important matters of national and regional interest.
