Four Tableeghi Jamaat members die in accident

Passengers were on their way to Hanna Urak when their tractor-trolley fell off the mountain into a deep ditch

QUETTA: Four members of a Tableeghi Jamaat died and six others sustained injuries when the tractor trolley they were traveling in fell into a ravine in the Shaban area of Quetta on Monday.

Levies officials said that the passengers were on their way to Hanna Urak valley from Sharag area of Duki district when their tractor trolley fell off the mountain into a deep ditch.

As result, four members of the Tableeghi Jamaat died on the spot after receiving head injuries and six others got injured.

Levies force soon after receiving information rushed to the accident site along with rescue workers and shifted the bodies and injured to Civil Hospital Quetta.

The deceased hailed from South Waziristan and were identified as Gul Naseeb, Taj Ali, Saydal Khan and Manial Khan. Their bodies will be dispatched to their native areas.

Two injured are said to be in a critical condition.
