JHELUM: Rawalpindi Regional Police Officer (RPO) Sohail Habib Tajik has urged police officers to treat the public gently as it creates room to amicably resolve issues.

He said this while addressing police officials at the Police Lines in Jhelum on Saturday.

The meeting was attended by District Police Officer (DPO) Syed Hammad Abid, SSP Investigation Gulfam Nasir, SDPOs, SHOs, and police personnel.

Earlier upon his arrival, Tajik was presented with a guard of honour by a smartly-turned-out contingent of the police. He also laid a wreath of flowers at a memorial for martyrs.

The official outlined their goal treating people with kindness and creating ease for them which can only be achieved through combined efforts. He urged policemen to take care of their fitness and adding that it was imperative police officials are physically fit.
