This was stated by Adviser to the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Chief Minister on Education Ziaullah Bangash while addressing a day-long seminar. The seminar had been jointly organised by the Social Welfare Department and Canadian organization Cowater International at the Social Welfare Complex in Peshawar.
Participating in a panel discussion, provincial assembly member Ayesha Bano, Zeenat Bibi, K-P Commission on Status of Women Chairperson Dr Riffat Sardar and Human Rights Director General Ghulam Ali, speakers said that the province was far ahead in enacting various women protection laws when compared to other provinces.
