According to Express News, the PPP chairperson said that party's founder Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto (late) always stood by the marginalised people of the society and “is the architect of Pakistan’s nuclear programme due to which the country’s sovereignty is secure from external threats.”

Bilawal also said that the foundation of Pakistan was laid on democratic principles that no dictator can abolish.
On Wednesday, Bilawal took on micro-blogging website Twitter and announced that party will celebrate its 52nd foundation day in Muzaffarabad, Azad Kashmir. He also said that the party will keep supporting Kashmiris' struggle for their right of self-determination.
