I vow to remain steadfast in PPP's 52-year-long struggle: Bilawal

Party celebrates its 52nd foundation day in Muzaffarabad Azad Kashmir today

KARACHI: On Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) 52nd foundation day, Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari asserted that the party will stick to its traditional views on ‘democracy, Constitution, rule of law and equality’.

“I vow to remain steadfast in the party's 52-year-long struggle,” said Bilawal.

According to Express News, the PPP chairperson said that party's founder Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto (late) always stood by the marginalised people of the society and “is the architect of Pakistan’s nuclear programme due to which the country’s sovereignty is secure from external threats.”



Bilawal also said that the foundation of Pakistan was laid on democratic principles that no dictator can abolish.

On Wednesday, Bilawal took on micro-blogging website Twitter and announced that party will celebrate its 52^nd foundation day in Muzaffarabad, Azad Kashmir. He also said that the party will keep supporting  Kashmiris' struggle for their right of self-determination.
