Twelve people were injured when the roof of a house collapsed on Friday. According to Rescue 1122 officials, the incident occurred during the engagement ceremony of Kaneez Bibi with Qamar in a house at Muhallah Shah Taliyan. Eyewitnesses told police officials that the house roof collapsed during the ceremony and several people were trapped under a large heap of rubble on site. During the ceremony the roof of the house caved in and 12 people were trapped under the rubble for over six hours while the wedding guests waited for rescue officials. As a result, 12 people were seriously injured and hospital officials have said that 5 of the injured people are currently in critical condition.
