"All the political parties will have to continue their joint struggle for the establishment of a real federation and to strengthen real democratic parliamentary system," Achakzai said while talking to party workers in Qila Saifullah at the residence of party leader Shafi Mirzai.
He said if political forces turn away from public issues and the challenges they face, then history will not forgive them. The ANP can never forget its martyrs and leaders and their struggle for securing rights of people of Pashtun areas of province.
Achakzai said those who have always claimed to be public representation in the past have to fulfill the expectations of the people. “People are important for us; we will never hurt the confidence and expectations of our people".
He said the ANP has always struggled not only for the rights of Pashtuns but also for the voice of all units and nationalities. He criticised the federal government and said during the last one and half years, inflation, taxes and other economic problems have overburdened the people.
"People are worried about their future," he said, urging the party officials and workers to ensure their presence in organizational activity. He said an active and organized party can fight the case of its people in a good way.
He said all tactics were used to demoralize the opposition parties, but they did not succeed.
“At the moment, all genuine political parties in the country should show solidarity by establishing a genuine federation and a genuine democratic parliamentary party,” he added.
ANP Provincial Secretary General Mabat Kaka, Provincial Joint Secretary Haji Hidayatullah, Quetta District President Jamaluddin Rashtia, District Qila Saifullah President Haji Abdul Malik Kakar, Provincial Salaar Ghani Durrani, District Secretary General Haji Ahsan Ullah Kakar, Mohammad Khan Kakar, Haji Jabar Kakar and others were present on the occasion.
