A total of 67,295 students appeared in the SSC Part-I annual examination out of which 42,095 candidates passed for a pass percentage of 63.28.
According to the result announced by Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) on Friday, a total of 47,504 regular students appeared in the science group out of which 34,926 passed (74.12%); out of 8,992 regular students who appeared in the humanities, 4, 469 passed (50.13%).
This year, 21 unfair cases were reported which were decided by a judicious process and efforts were made to ensure that all the concerned were allowed a personal hearing, according to an FBISE handout.
The decisions are given at the end of the gazette at page number 861.The application for rechecking of papers can be submitted within 30 days. The result is available on the federal board’s website www.fbise.edu.pk and can also be obtained by texting roll numbers to 5050.
The result of candidates indicated as result later (RL) will be declared after the board and candidates fulfil the requirements.
