BAP to become voice of Balochistan: Jamali

Says ruling party is actively protecting rights of people of province

QUETTA: Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) chief organiser and member provincial assembly (MPA) Jan Muhammad Jamali has said the BAP is following its manifesto and is taking all measures to ensure the provision of facilities to the masses in Balochistan.

“Being the ruling party in the province, we have been taking all possible steps to end the sense of deprivation that has grown in the last 70 years among people of Balochistan,” Jamali said on Friday while addressing the BAP’s organizing committee meeting in Quetta.

“The party would come up to public expectations and emerge as the voice of Balochistan,” he added.

The chief organizer said people of Balochistan elected the BAP as their representative in order to clinch rights of the province from the central government.

“Since forming the provincial government, the party ministers, senators, MPAs and leaders have been keenly working to protect the natural resources of Balochistan. Provision of quality educational, health and infrastructure facilities are our key objectives,” he added.

Jamali lauded the initiative of the provincial endowment fund calling it a relief for poor patients who cannot afford expensive treatment. He said the recently held Balochistan Livestock Expo 2019 has opened doors of investment in Balochistan.

“The Livestock Expo 2019 managed to get the attention of national and international companies,” he added.

Federal Minister for Defence Production Zubaida Jalal, Finance Minister Zahoor Buledi, Akbar Askani, Lala Abdul Rasheed Baloch, Mahjabeen Sheeran, Additional Secretary General Husnain Hashmi, Secretary Information Chaudery Shabir and senior party workers were present in the meeting.The party also unanimously elected Abdul Rauf Rind as its divisional organizer for Makran Division.
