‘Workers welfare fund bill is a historic step’

PTI wants to bring prosperity and progress to the country says provincial minister

SARGODHA: The approval of Punjab Workers Welfare Fund Bill 2019 by the provincial assembly is a historic step taken by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)-led government, said Provincial Minister for Human Resources and Development Ansar Majeed Niazi on Friday.

The provincial minister said that the PTI is a popular political party and the workers of the party were its real assets. “After passing the workers welfare fund bill, the funds that were allocated would directly be transferred to the account of the ministry of labour and human resources.”  The minister further said that on the direction of the prime minister, the government is taking steps that were never taken before, to resolve the crisis and bring prosperity and progress to the country.

He maintained that the PTI-led government is working hard for securing the rights of the people and providing basic amenities at the threshold of the people.
