In support of Musharraf

Shahzad Shah June 13, 2010

TORONTO: I think Pervez Musharraf is the only hope an average Pakistani has given that neither Asif Zardari nor Nawaz Sharif understand the basic needs of the ordinary person. Both the PPP and the PML-N have failed to live up to the many promises they made when they were trying to get votes. There are many who condemn Musharraf for what he did to the people of Balochistan when the military launched an operation against Akbar Bugti that lead to his death.

However, why cannot they see that the passing away of a man who refused to let the people of his constituency send their children to school is not necessarily a bad thing?

Pakistan needs someone like Musharraf who has served his country with dignity and there are a lot of moderate Muslims who support him.

sadiq | 13 years ago | Reply shahzad sahb has some intuition or he got some spiritual enlightenment thru which he came to know the will and wishes of pakistani people who want musharaf back...sitting in toronto he can tell the fellings of the pakistani people..its strange!how would he or anybody else know the will of people? the only method of knowing the peoples` will is thru elections, and elections declared musharaf the most disliked person.. how can an army man know the problems of the people! i would advise shah saheb, that he has full right to like or love mr. musharaf but he has no right to pose himself to be the representative of pakistani people. pakistani people are happy without him..
