PESHAWAR: Senior Minister of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and Parliamentary leader of ANP Bashir Ahmad Bilour on Thursday visited the Afghan Consulate to express his condolence over the killing of Ahmad Wali Karzai, half brother of Afghanistan President Hamid Karzai.

The senior minister met Afghan Consul General Muhammad Ibrahim Zai and offered a prayer for the departed soul. Bilour, while lauding the services of Ahmad Wali Karzai for his country and the Afghan nation, strongly condemned his killing and termed it an international conspiracy to damage the ongoing negotiations between the Afghan government and the Taliban for the restoration of peace in war ravaged Afghanistan. Ibrahim Zai exchanged matters of mutual interests with Bilour and expressed hope that Pak-Afghan relations will further improve. He said maintenance of peace throughout the world is motto of present government of Afghanistan.
