Rangers arrest 26 suspects
In separate operations in different parts of the city
KARACHI:
Sindh Rangers claimed to have arrested 26 suspects in separate operations in different parts of the city.
Sindh Rangers spokesperson said that 18 of the 26 suspects were arrested in separate operations in the jurisdictions of North Karachi Industrial Area Police Station, Khokhrapar Police Station, Awami Colony Police Station, Brigade Police Station, Ferozabad Police Station, Ittehad Town Police Station and Korangi Police Station.
Sindh Rangers claimed that the 18 suspects were involved in drug peddling, robberies and other street crimes. According to the Rangers, another suspect Abdur Reman was arrested from the jurisdiction of Gulshan-e-Maymar Police Station, who was allegedly involved in the sale and purchase of illegal weapons. Meanwhile, the paramilitary force claimed to have arrested seven other suspects, allegedly involved in drug peddling in the area.
