SHAHDADPUR: A widow was killed by her brother on the pretext of karo kari in Mir Ali Talpur Goth on Thursday. The police have conducted a post-mortem and registered an FIR against her brother, Soomer Hajano. Zainab, the widow, was married to a member of the Khaskeli tribe and was widowed when men from the Hajano tribe accused her husband of being a karo. The relationship between both tribes has remained strained for the last couple of months.
