“Wrong policies by dictators and incompetent democratic regimes have pushed the economy at the brink of destruction, while isolated Pakistan at international level,” he said while addressing a ceremony held on the fourth death anniversary of National Party’s former secretary general Dr Yaseen Baloch.
He lamented that because of such policies the country has been put in the grey list by the Financial Action Task Force (FATF). Baloch added that if recommendations suggested by the FATF are not implemented then the country would be placed in the black list.
He also slammed the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf-led government for “faltering economy,” adding the increasing inflation has “ruined the poor class” of the country.
Baloch said: “The NP believes in free and fair elections, which remains the only solution to stabilising the country. But ironically new parties are being engineered for short-standing political objectives.”
