Uplift projects to be ‘completed on time

Spokesman for Balochistan says provincial govt will play its vital role in the development, prosperity of the province

QUETTA: Spokesman for Balochistan government Liaquat Shahwani said on Monday that the provincial government will play its vital role in the development and prosperity of the province along with ensuring timely completion of uplift projects in Balochistan.

"Chief Minister Jam Kamal wants timely completion of development projects to benefit the people at the earliest and maintain the trust between the government and the public," the spokesman said.

Shahwani added that against the traditions and trends of the past, new enthusiasm is being shown by the incumbent government to lay the foundation of a prosperous Balochistan.

"Progress only in paperwork of offices has been rejected by the people. The decisions will be made for the welfare of the people keeping in mind their needs," he added.

He said every move of the present provincial government is being communicated to the people through the media.
