Mohib Mirza and Aamina Sheikh part ways



Mohib Mirza and Aamina Sheikh have parted ways after 14 years of marriage. Talking to a local news channel, Mohib addressed the rumours about his separation with Aamina Sheikh and confirmed the news by saying, “No, we are not together”.  Mohib and Aamina tied the knot in 2005 and have a daughter named Meissa together who was born in 2015. Aamina, a critically acclaimed actor, was last seen in a movie, Cake, released in 2018. Mohib will soon be seen in an upcoming film, Ishrat.

Shehryar Munawar breaks silence after ending engagement



After being engaged for nearly a year, the actor has broken silence on his engagement being called off with fiancé Hala Soomro. Parey Hut Love actor finally responded to all the censure he had been receiving lately. An official statement was released by the actor which said,” I will not comment on a decision taken by my family. This is a private matter that involves two families and I would like to take this opportunity to request everyone to give our families, myself and my ex-fiancé our due share of privacy and time to deal with this new development in our lives”.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman sets an ultimatum



Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the chief of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam, has ratcheted up pressure on the  government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), giving Prime Minister Imran Khan a three-day ultimatum to resign or else prepare for the consequences.“People have given their verdict, they want freedom from this government,” the 66-year-old cleric said while addressing tens of thousands of opposition workers camping on a sprawling ground in Sector H-9 on Friday. Thousands of JUI-F workers descended on the capital late Thursday night after their five-day marathon journey, ‘Azadi (Freedom) march’ — which set off from Karachi on October 27.

Rabi Pirzada Quits Showbiz



Singer Rabi Pirzada has bid farewell to the showbiz industry amid controversy surrounding her compromised images and videos. Taking to Twitter, the singer wrote, “I, Rabi Pirzada, have decided to distance myself from the showbiz industry.” She further wrote, “May Allah forgive my sins and soften others’ hearts towards me.” The singer also confirmed the decision to quit the showbiz industry while talking to The Express Tribune. Last week,  ‘compromising videos’ of Pirzada went viral on social media. While a huge number of users called her out for ‘profanity’ others came out in her support and slammed the breach of privacy.#RabiPirzada was the top trend in the country on Friday, with Twitter users hitting out at the breach.

Matthew McConaughey helps cook meals to first responders battling California fires



The Oscar winner actor, Matthew McConaughey teamed up with disaster relief organisation Operation BBQ Relief and Wild Turkey Bourbon to cook, prepare and deliver meals to first responders as multiple wildfires rage across his second home of California. The actor made BBQ turkey dinners for firefighters and other first responders battling the flames in southern California and personally thanked them for their hard work. The meals were delivered to over 20 fire stations and an additional 800 meals were prepared for local homeless shelters. The actor said, “Being able to provide meals to the men and women who put themselves on the line is an honour, we are grateful to be here today to say thank you, shine a light on their unwavering conviction and hopefully inspire others to get involved and help in their own communities”.

Ready to welcome Sikh pilgrims



Prime Minister Imran Khan on Sunday congratulated his government over the construction of the Kartarpur Corridor in ‘record time’ ahead of the 550th birthday celebrations of the founder of Sikh religion Baba Guru Nanak. “I want to congratulate our government for readying Kartarpur, in record time, for Guru Nanak jee’s 550th birthday celebrations. Kartarpur is ready to welcome Sikh pilgrims,” the prime minister said on his Twitter handle. The PM also shared multiple images of the fully illuminated building of the complex, including the courtyards, roads and checking counters.
