QUETTA: Balochistan High Court (BHC) Chief Justice Jamal Khan Mandokhail has said courts are responsible for the provision of speedy justice to applicants but urged the lower courts to keep in mind all aspects of law while giving judgment.

“Provincial departments and judiciary have to play a vital role in the supremacy of law in Balochistan. The lawyers’ community should also support the judiciary in removing obstacles causing a delay in justice,” Justice Mandokhail said while visiting Pishin Judicial Complex on Friday.

Addressing the district bar, the CJ said without speedy justice the society cannot be developed and this why the court has been taking measures to ensure the provision of justice to masses at their doorsteps.

“The provincial government has to make sure provision of quality educational, health and water facilities for masses but every single individual of the society should come forward in revamping governance structure in Balochistan,” he said.

Justice Mandokhail also called upon the applicants to pressurise their lawyers to get a quick judgment on their cases “as the BHC does not want to prolong cases.” The CJ also reviewed court records and heard issues of district lawyers.
