FAISALABAD: A 21-year-old man shot and killed his mother after he suspected her of having relations with a neighbour. On Wednesday, Chak No141 RB resident Abid returned to his home in Chak Jhumra from Lahore and had a quarrel with his mother. Abid said that he had heard rumours that Bahishat Bibi, a widow, was having an affair with a villager. Abid, initially, hit his mother with a stick and when she tried to defend herself he shot her and fled the village. Police officials have registered a case on the complaint of the deceased’s brother Allah Ditta and are searching for the accused.
