Sonakshi Sinha no longer cares what anyone has to say about her body. This is evident in a video the Bollywood star has dropped this week wherein she talks about body-shaming and how she overcame it.

Sinha shared the video - titled Bigger Than Them - on her Instagram.  "Lets talk about the elephant in the room!" begins the caption of the post. "For years, I’ve been trolled because of my weight. I’ve never felt the need to react because I always believed I was #BiggerThanThem, pun intended. But on the next episode of myntrafashionsuperstar, I asked the contestants to take to social media to talk about something close to their hear. I want to lead by example. Is there something you’ve held back for far too long? Share your story with me and start the conversation! You will not be pushed around because you, too, are Bigger Than Them."

The video starts off with Sinha reiterating the brutal criticism she received for her weight. She then moves onto explaining how the trolls don't affect her now.

The derogatory comments included "Cow on the catwalk", "Fatso", "Aunty" and "Motakshi Sinha," among others. Sinha adds, "Imagine being called all that and worse on social media, only because you put up a post you thought was great? 'Trolls.' That's what they are called? Those people who just kill your vibe. Those who have all the time to judge others and no work to do. So they will say anything, just like that! Sometimes, we feel angry, hurt and numb. But now, we just laugh it off because these people are a joke themselves."

The R Rajkummar actor further explains how she has stopped paying heed to negative comments. "I listened to them, but then thought that even after me shedding 30 kilograms, they are still at it. That's when I said, 'to hell with them.' Because Sonakshi Sinha is here for a reason."

The actor then shares a motivational message for everyone else. "I made it as I was and I have nothing to hide. Not my curves, not my weight, not my image."

But the best part is Sinha saying, "I am not a number on the scale. And that's what makes me bigger than them, pun intended."

On the work front, Sinha will be seen next in Dabangg 3.
