Police said that a resident of Manzoor colony Mahmoodabad, Faiza Parvez submitted a complaint that she received a call on July 24 from her sister-in-law, who lives in the Allah Wala Town's KDA Employees Society of the Korangi Industrial Area, saying that her brother Muhammad Rakhsar has suffered an electric shock of 11,000 watts from a wire attached to their house.

Both his legs were burnt due to electric current and had to be amputated as the poison had spread and his life was in danger.
The complainant said that her brother had requested the K-Electric numerous times for the removal of the high tension wires from their house but they did not take any action.
She requested the registration of a case against the K-electric CEO, Korangi GM, duty officer, technical team and others responsible for the gross negligence and for not removing the high tension wires from her brother's home.
Police have registered the case in light of the complainant's statement and handed over the case to the investigation police for further action.
