But fortunately, he does not take it to heart. If anything, Abraham says he has gotten used to it, reported The Indian Express. “My case has been such that I get written off as an actor every day,” he said at a recent event. “After every criticism, I try harder to do better films. I keep my head down and continue working. I am not negative about anyone criticising me, I just want to do good work.”
Abraham will next be seen in the upcoming action-comedy Pagalpanti, which is slated to release on November 22. He stars alongside Anil Kapoor, Ileana D’Cruz, Kriti Kharbanda, Urvashi Rautela, Arshad Warsi and Pulkit Samrat in it.
At the same event, Abraham was also asked why he decided to do an out and out comedy like Pagalpanti when he is already smashing box office records with his action films. On this, the actor said, “I am a big fan of Anees Bazmee and his films, so doing a film like this is a lot of fun, and you leave it in the director’s hands. I think he has got out some fantastic performances from everybody. Everybody is outstanding in the film.”
