PlayStation 5 is rumored to have a hefty price tag

Priced £100 more than its predecessor model the PlayStation 4

There is some time before the launch of PlayStation 5, but the word around is that Sony’s new gaming console will come with a hefty price tag, almost £100 more than its predecessor model PlayStation 4.

ProGamingShop, an online vendor located in Slovakia has proposed release date of December 4 for the console and priced PlayStation5 at £430.

If this amount is correct then there’s a huge jump in pricing given that the PlayStation 4 which was selling at £340.

Sony has remained discreet about details regarding the specifications of PlayStation 5 and Holiday 2020 release date.

The tech giant outlined what could be expected in the new gaming console on their blog.

“Since we originally unveiled our next-generation console in April, we know that there’s been a lot of excitement and interest in hearing more about what the future of games will bring, said Jim Ryan, President and CEO of SIE.

Ryan also mentioned upgraded innovations that have been added to the new gaming console, for instance, haptic feedback has been replaced by ‘rumble’ technology in current controllers and adaptive triggers’ in the controller’s trigger buttons.

“You can even get a sense for a variety of textures when running through fields of grass or plodding through mud,” said Ryan.
