PHA Vice Chairman Hafiz Zeeshan Rashid announced to approach the NAB and the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) against corruption and forged documents scandal.
Zeeshan raised questions over the contracts awarded to the former chairman.
He said the act of former chairman Mustafa Kamal raised eyebrows of everyone who, being a government official, took different contracts, used PHA’s plants, its employees and all its machinery on those personal contracts he had obtained. He said the lights valuing Rs2800,000 were installed in Faiz Ahmed Faiz Park in Narowal but astonishing enough that all lights along with their electricity wires were stolen.

Furthermore, the trees of dates valuing Rs25 million were taken to Narowal but were shifted towards some undisclosed place.
He said Kamal took hundreds of contracts in Lahore, Rawalpindi Metro Bus, Gujrat University, Ring Road, Niazi Chowk, Sagian Interchange, Greater Iqbal Park, Nawaz Sharif Park and other areas when he was serving as a chairperson task force of PHA.
Most of these projects were not completed but the amount was received by him. After that PHA had to face the loss by accomplishing those projects. He vowed to get registered an FIR against Kamal over his alleged corruption in different contracts which he had obtained by using his power. He said Kamal ruined the PHA and every penny would be recovered from him.
