Kim took to Twitter on Tuesday to talk about the presents she received on her 39th birthday. "But he [Kanye] also donated $1 million to my favourite charities that work so hard on prison reforms, on my behalf from him and the kids. This makes my heart so happy!”
The rapper donated $1m (£776,205) to prison reform charities in her name. Not to mention, of course, there were 'amazing bags' involved as a part of the present too.
The makeup mogul also attached a picture with her tweet of the “certificate of donation,” which shows that Kanye, as well as the couple’s children, North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm, donated $1m to Cut 50, Buried Alive Project, Equal Justice Initiative, and Anti-Recidivism Coalition.
According to The Independent, Kim had also announced that she would be pursuing a career in law.
I got amazing gifts from my whole family and Kanye for me the most amazing bags. But he also donated $1 million to my favorite charities that work so hard on prison reform on my behalf from him and the kids. This makes my heart so happy! pic.twitter.com/chNkyPRQGW

While in response to their donation, the charities expressed their gratitude via another tweet on their social media handle. Cut 50 wrote, “Thank you from the entire team (and happy birthday!) These funds will help fuel our efforts to use humanisation and legislation to transform the US justice system. We’re proud to be in this fight with you and honoured to have you part of our #Cut50 family!”
