Negatives of bodybuilding

People should be aware that when something goes beyond the limit, effects are worse

RAWALPINDI: Every passing year the number of federations and body building competitions are increasing as youngster wants to become bodybuilders. Nowadays everyone wants to look lean and shredded, everyone dreams to reach lower body fat and struggles to reach their goal. They follow different fad diets (ketogenic, low carbs, paleo) by totally eliminating different food groups such as carbs, fats and some essential minerals and vitamins from their diet. In the short term, the results seem to be very satisfying but in longer run they end up developing unhealthier relationship with foods and eating disorders. Due to this they end up regaining more weight they lost. In the present day, there is an alarming increase in the percentage of youngsters using steroids. Steroids are harmful for mental health and create dependability on the user taking the drug. According to a new study, men who use androgenic anabolic steroids may face a higher risk of early death and of experiencing more hospital admissions. Many gym rats blindly trust their gym trainer working both independently and in gyms, having no certification or credentials that qualify them to train others. A lot of gym trainers openly promote and sell steroids to young people to make a quick buck. Not only do they not understand the downsides, but they do not have the medical background or a degree for recommending this. Such trainers are promoting misinformation and spoiling society for their own interest. Ignoring your health is the worst thing you can do to yourself. It is time that people understood that our health is of utmost importance and it is only when we are healthy would we be able to work efficiently. People should be aware that when something goes beyond the limit, effects are worse. One should always do things the correct way and it is always wise to get proper coaching, instruction and mentoring for your goals in order to be successful.
