KARACHI: An anti-terrorism court (ATC) issued non-bailable arrest warrants on Monday for the four absconding accused affiliated with the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan and the Awami National Party (ANP) in the May 12 cases.

The court remarked that police asked for extensions in every hearing but it was not clear whether any practical measures are being taken for the arrests of the accused. The IO told the court that raids were being conducted and the police hoped that the accused would be behind bars soon.
