PkMAP chief urges full public support for JUI-F’s march

He says he is ready to share both a container and jail with the Maulana

QUETTA: Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) Chairman Mahmood Khan Achakzai has urged the country’s democratic forces to fight for the supremacy of the Constitution.

“We fully support the ‘Azadi march’ of (JUI-F President) Maulana Fazlur Rehman and are ready to share both a container and jail with the Maulana”, Mehmood Khan Achakzai said while addressing a seminar held in memory of prominent lawmaker Asma Jahangir.

Opposition sets conditions for talks with govt

He said Asma Jahangir had played a major role in upholding the Constitution and fought against dictatorial forces, adding that the country’s institutions should play their part in saving the country and that those who had given power to the people through undemocratic processes would be responsible if any harm came to the country.

Mehmood Khan Achakzai said that Maulana Fazlur Rehman was following his current path for the supremacy of the Constitution and of democracy.
