PESHAWAR:
A drinking water supply scheme for the flood affected community of Diwana Baba in FR Tank has been completed. According to press release issued by FATA Secretariat here on Tuesday, the political administration of FR Tank completed the reconstruction of a gravity-based drinking water supply system and also installed one surface water tank of 10,000 gallons and four surface water tanks of 2,000 gallon each. The political administration has also completed the construction of a flood protection wall for the community of Malik Mirazam Koruna in the Ping area in FR Tank. This project is benefiting some 2,300 individuals of the area. The press release informed that other projects are in the pipeline to improve the conditions of local people through the provision of basic facilities at their doorsteps.
