Shopkeepers complain that the government has not provided them with a replacement for plastic bags
ISLAMABAD: Since the ban on plastic bags, people have started facing problems. I have seen different shopkeepers who do not provide grocery bags to their customers, rather they just individually hand them the goods being purchased. Shopkeepers do not keep any alternatives to plastic bags because they will have to pay more for it. This creates a lot of problems for people especially during an emergency. On the other hand, shopkeepers are complaining that the government is not providing them with a replacement and they have to use other means themselves. If the government has banned plastic bags, then they should provide other grocery bags and at a cheaper price.
