
No loss of life or damage was reported. Tremors were also felt in Islamabad, Murree and Peshawar.
At least 30 dead, 452 injured as earthquake jolts AJK, Punjab
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), the epicentre of the quake was in the Hindukush range in Afghanistan at a depth of 157 kilometres.
The jolts created fear among the locals and many came out of their residences and office buildings.
A devastating earthquake in September had rattled Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), resurrecting the haunting memories of a monster quake that had wrecked the region 14 years ago.
The shallow 5.6-magnitude earthquake had also jolted several cities of Punjab and K-P.
