ISLAMABAD: As part of the government’s plan to provide shelter and food to the homeless and the destitute, the Sector I-11 Panah Gah (shelter home) has been providing a roof to over 200 people in the federal capital apart from feeding as many as 1,500 homeless and needy people a day.

"We provide shelter on a first-come-first-serve basis daily and all the particulars and every person's details are not only registered but also shared with the police," said Rosh Dil Khan Hoti, the caretaker of the shelter home.
