ECP undergoes transfers and postings

Provincial Election Commission Director Javed Iqbal promoted to Grade 20

ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has undergone large-scale transfers and postings with Javed Iqbal, director of the provincial Election Commission, being promoted to Grade 20.
Further, seven district election commissioners of Grade 18 have been promoted to Grade 19 as regional election commissioners, while six election officers of Grade 17 have been promoted to Grade 18 as district election commissioners.

According to the ECP notification, provincial election commission’s Iqbal has been promoted to Grade 20 as additional director general (budget) Election Commission Secretariat.

Chief election commissioner staff officer Nazar Abbas has been appointed as the regional election commissioner, Rawalpindi while regional election commissioner, Rawalpindi Muhammad Nadeem Zubair has been made staff officer of the CEC.

ECP to hold by-elections on NA-259 seat

Those who have been promoted to Grade 19 include Zhob regional election commissioner Muhammad Hashim, Mirpurkhas regional election commissioner Masood Ahmed Qureshi, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa provincial Election Commission director Khushhal Zada, Malakand regional election commissioner Nadeem Khan, Sukkur regional election commissioner Muhammad Shahid, Larkana regional election commissioner Pervaiz Ahmed Kalhore and Makran regional election commissioner Abdul Wahid.

Those who have been promoted to Grade 18 include Korangi district election commissioner Deen Muhammad, Musakhel district election commissioner Muhammad Saleem, Qilla Saifullah district election commissoner Naeem Shehzad, Kharan district election commissioner Safdar Naseer, Ketch (Turbat) district election commissioner Abdul Haleem and Khyber district election commissioner Ziaur Raheem.
