Anti-narcotics court extends Sanaullah’s judicial remand

LAHORE: An anti-narcotics court judge has extended the nine-day judicial remand of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Punjab chapter Rana Sanaullah allegedly involved in the drug smuggling case.

As the proceeding commenced, the Sanaullah's lawyer implored the court that their claim proved correct that Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) had not spent any 40 minutes while arresting Sanaullah. They contended that Sanaullah was intercepted at 3:25pm while his vehicle was seen in Punjab University camera on 3:35pm when the vehicle reached at the campus within 10 minutes. The ANF prosecutor requested the court to frame charges against the accused. However, the case was adjourned by October 18.

The ANF received information that Rana Sanaullah was involved in drug smuggling and now he was taking heroin to Lahore. At which the ANF arranged a 21-member raiding team.

They reached on motorway Ravi Toll Plaza and intercepted two vehicles, a white Toyota Land Cruiser and a black double-cabin coming from the motorway.
