The suspect, Tabarak Hussain fled the country back in 2004 without informing the related authorities. In an attempt to evade the law, he decided to land at an airport far from the garrison city. However, due to an online record of criminals and suspects, including those named in the fourth schedule, the immigration officials booked Tabarak on his arrival and informed the Rawalpindi Police of his arrest.
Furthermore, Rawalpindi City Police Officer (CPO) Faisal Rana directed to send all records of the suspect to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) which has been done.
Saddar SP Roy Mazhar informed that a Rawalpindi police team has left for Karachi to take custody of the suspect from the FIA.
In this regard, the Rawalpindi police spokesperson said that a case was registered against the suspect in Murree Police Station under anti-terrorism sections of the National Action Plan (NAP) in which he was declared wanted. The spokesperson endorsed that the suspect had been booked by immigration officials yesterday.
