Investors have invested in real estate businesses and created large buildings but have overlooked the basic facilities needed in those buildings. The private investment and public records office also lacks modern facilities like in hospitals across the province, land records rooms, police stations, hostels, shopping malls, and revenue offices and even in the university record sections.
The building's departments have also turned a deaf ear to such calls while taking money against passing the architectures map of the building which would affect the lives of scores of people if an emergency prevails.
A study conducted by the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) showed that K-P is prone to natural hazards such as floods, earthquakes, and cyclones.
