LAHORE: Punjab Governor Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar stated that Prime Minister Imran Khan is dragging the country out of an economic crisis. However, some parties with an ideology of chaos and anarchy are conspiring to push the country towards instability.

He expressed these views on Sunday while speaking to a delegation of overseas Pakistani led by Chaudhry Aslam. He underlined that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) government will go on to complete its constitutional term of five years. “The opposition’s plan to topple the government will only remain a farfetched dream,” he said.

He added that the government is delivering on the promises made to overseas Pakistanis. For the first time in history, special courts were established for overseas Pakistanis and three judges in the Lahore High Court, and one judge in each district, is deciding the cases of overseas Pakistanis.

He also appreciated the efforts of overseas Pakistanis and added that they play a pivotal role in the country’s economic well-being.
