The student, identified as 22-year-old Inamul Haque, felt a severe chest pain during his university hours and fell unconscious due to low blood pressure.
The CUI administration reportedly failed to provide immediate medical aid and also refused students to bring in their private cars to take Inam to the nearest hospital.

The university students' body alleged that the ambulance was not permitted to enter the premises although it arrived several minutes late and Inam lost his life lying on the floor.
However, the administration rejected all accusations. According to its official statement, Inam was provided the required facilitation at the university’s medical centre.
"The student suffered from a massive cardiac arrest and was immediately rushed to the medical centre where he was administered emergency treatment by trained medical professionals," the communique added.

"After administering emergency treatment, the student was rushed to the National Institute of Health Medical Complex, Islamabad for further treatment. However, the hospital authorities declared the student dead on arrival," the communique said.
A large number of students boycotted classes to stage protest and chanted slogans against varsity officials while demanding an immediate action against the culprits who are responsible for the alleged delay in providing medical facility to Inam.
Moreover, Inam’s body was handed over to his family after they refused for the postmortem.
