Apart from IT:Chapter 2 and Joker, which are predicted to be the highest grossing films of 2019, one should not forget that Walt Disney's Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, is also around the corner. However, what makes things even more exciting is Aishwarya Rai Bachan's recent depiction of the Queen of evil, in the verge of promoting the release of the film in Hindi.

Aishwarya created a hype around the upcoming animated film, by depicting her rendition of the character to social media. Not to mention, she specifically reimbursed herself into the role to make it official that she has rendered her voice to the Indian dubbed version of the animation.

Fans are now excited to hear her voice in the role of a Disney villain, as the makers unveiled the Hindi promo trailer and it is hard not to be impressed. According to Times of India, her faux feather cape and bright green eyes complimented her appearance as she delivered her lines with conviction.

The clip features the star narrating a little of Maleficent’s back-story before taking a dive into the plot set up for the sequel. Seeing the actress delve into her dark side for this role as one of Disney’s darkest villains, makes us wonder why we haven’t seen her play a negative role yet in Bollywood.

Jolie, who originally plays the title character, is returning as the evil fairy in the follow-up to the 2014 Disney film. Described as a stirring tale of good versus evil, ‘Maleficent: Mistress Of Evil’ will see Maleficent and her goddaughter Aurora (Elle Fanning) begin to question the complex family ties that bind them as they are pulled in different directions by impending nuptials, unexpected allies and dark new forces at play.

The film is slated to be released in theatres on October 18 in India, in English and Hindi.
