Two killed, one injured over old enmity

FAISALABAD: Two people were killed while another sustained bullet injuries over an old enmity in Sitiana police station limits on Wednesday. Police stated that Muhammad Bashir, Muhammad Adeeb and Bilal Ahmed were at their home in Chak No 37-GB when two unidentified motorcyclists open fired. Muhammad Bashir died on the spot while Muhammad Adeeb breathed his last on the way to the hospital. Meanwhile, Bilal was shifted to the hospital in critical condition. After receiving information of the incident, police reached the scene and took the deceased’s bodies into custody. Officials said that the incident was thought to be motivated by an old rivalry. Further investigations are under way.
